Riverton Community House
Kia Ora, The Riverton Community House exists to ensure our rural community has access to social and community services, – being rural shouldn’t mean you can’t get what you need. Some of these services are delivered by us based at Riverton Community House 37 Napier Street, Riverton.
Our 3 offices are available for the community and organisation to use. Each has table/desk, chairs and small kitchen with tea and coffee facilities. We also offer printing facilities and internet access.
Our Mission
Haere Mai, The Riverton Community Charitable Trust is a voluntary organisation that seeks to provide, assistance and support in developing social, cultural, health and educational activities, and services to enhance the well-being of the people in the Riverton Community Board area.
Welcome to Riverton Community House Heartlands Services
We are fortunate to hold the Heartlands MSD Contract for our area which enables us to host a range of Government agencies at our hub in Riverton. This includes a regular JP service four mornings a week. We work with a range of people to explore the stress and anxiety they may be experiencing and help them resolve issues in their lives that are making it difficult for them to live happily and positively. We walk alongside whanau/families and individuals using mana-enhancing practices and frameworks.
Caring for our community and keeping Riverton connected
